Our Culture is the lifeline of our society,
Expressed through stories and variety.
Celebrating our past and imagining our fate,
Creative expression it helps us appreciate.
AfroAmericans participate in culture in many ways,
As inventors, professionals, and in their creative days,
From museums to theatres to libraries galore,
Culture brings Soulaan together more and more.
Culture offers benefits intrinsic and real,
Delighting and inspiring with every feel.
Enhancing education outcomes and skills,
And building self-esteem that gives the thrills.
Culture and health go hand in hand,
With well-being improved throughout the land.
Engagement in the arts can relieve isolation,
And promote unity and identity formation.
Culture builds social solidarity and inclusion,
Fostering civic pride and community fusion.
Revitalization of AfroAmerican cultures plays a key role,
In supporting the health and well-being of individuals and whole.
